Guidance to Realtors, Prospective Purchasers & Renters
Pond Place is a great place to live. When deciding whether to purchase here, please take into consideration the strict maintenance requirements and private road and facilities upkeep expenses.
Special Reports/Projects
DEEP Wildlife Division completed a 2- year study on bobcats that was state-wide. Bobcats were live-trapped and fitted with GPS (Global Positioning System) collars that detach within the year. With the help of the trapping community and willing landowners, over 100 GPS collars were attached to bobcats in 2018 and 2019. The last phase of research is going to focus on all bobcats living in one area. If you are interested in participating and would like more information, please contact CTBobcatProject@uconn.edu
Andrea Urbano (Central District Service Forester) and Larry Rousseau (Western District Service Forester) made an on-sight visit to help the Pond Place Association better understand how to protect and safely maintain Pond Place forest resources. Download complete study.
