MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:31 pm
RESIDENT/HOME OWNER COMMENTS
The inspection of the Darling Road bridge showed the bridge to be in good repair. Rossetti would like to get a quote for future replacement of the concrete wings and elevation of the railings to state building code height.
Hearing notices will be sent to those on the non-compliance list. Montgomery and Sachen will be on site next week to finish Inspections and finalize the list. Mike LaRosa of 2 Owl Court would like a 3 month extension to cure his violations. Discussion ensued, and it was decided that normal procedure should be followed, and he should appear for a hearing.
DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
Statements have been sent out, and Salokas will send out the September statement on 10-27-23.
The fall 2023 inspection is nearing completion and violation notices will be going out and the matrix Board d updated. For those who have not completed cited maintenance items by October 1, 2023, notices of an opportunity to be heard at the November 16thmeeting will be sent out.
Pond Place Day plans are complete, and everyone is ready to go. Rain is forecast for the 29th, and Larkin will make a decision as to cancellation by 11:00 am on October 28th.
Rossetti moved that Susan Franke, the former secretary, be compensated for her work on the revision of the Building Guide. She is requesting the sum of $500.00. He also requested
that Larkin be reimbursed $521.00 for the purchase of a laptop and updated software she needed to prepare the minutes of the Board meetings. The motion was seconded and passed.
Rossetti spoke about the recent theft of vehicles in Pond Place. He has not received any information from the police as yet, and will send information and guidance in his next community message after he speaks with them.
Hessert-Blawie reported that the revised Building Guide is ready but we need to add the original pictures of the canopies allowed. Rossetti will attempt to find them. References to availability of blueprints from the managers in the Canopies section will also be deleted. At this time, the pictures will be left off the document.
The Rules and Regulations need to be updated, but will be a separate document.
Rossetti moved the DRC send the final version to the community for comment. The motion was seconded and passed.
